Why I sell Tortue.
I love working for Captain Tortue, its a friendly, family company based in the south of France and they design beautiful clothes for children. My background is not in retail or sales and I could never sell anything I did not believe in. Captain Tortue clothes are truly designer, Lilian Jacquelinet designs as both a talented designer and a mother.
The clothes are authentic, genuine and absolutely beautiful. Children say they like these clothes because they are comfortable and fashionable. Parents like them because although they are colourful and have quirky details they are classic. Dressed in Tortue, children look like children, although sophisticated and fashionable ones, they do not look like mini adults.

The quality of the clothes is outstanding, they wash well and mothers of larger families report handing them down to 2nd and 3rd children and being very pleased with how good they look. As a consultant I can confidently recommend the clothes and make statements I know will stand up. In direct sales, repeat custom and recommendation is everything.
Each season Lillian and her team, based in Aix en Provence, produce a collection containing 6 'stories'. 2 for boys, 2 for girls and 2 for babies. In each story the clothes mix and match creating endless combinations with matching tones. This means your children (and husband) can pick out clothes and they match and that each item works well with the others. Layering has been popular for the 6 seasons Tortue has been in the UK, and works well in the English climate. The clever colour choices and complimentary tones make a beautiful collection and when I bring the clothes to show to someone for the first time I can be confident they will love them.
While the girls clothes are beautiful and extremely popular, the boys clothes are an outstanding success. The clothes are colourful and in no way garish, fashionable without being too edgy, they can go anywhere; the clothes are smart enough for an event and relaxed enough to hang out with your mates in.

At home and not in any shops, catalogues or on the internet. It is an exclusive and relaxing way to buy clothes. I offer an individual service, as a personal consultant I can come to you when ever it is most convenient. Some clients book to meet with me during half term so that the children are about and can say what they like, others book a morning pop in where I come by for a brief and relaxed visit when it is quiet. Shows with guests.
Other clients love to put on shows or parties, earning host(ess) benefits from the sales made by their guests. A Captain Tortue party is quite different from the make up or Tupperware parties of the 70's and 80's, the clothes are sophisticated and very desirable. I help you plan who to invite, provide invitations and ensure you feel confident about the success of the evening. On the day or evening I present the collection to your guest's and explain how Captain Tortue works. After the orders have been collected I calculate your reward and you are able to order your choices with your discount. There is a set percentage and additional bonuses, check this site for updates.
Shows booked for February: hosts recieve an additional £20 as well as the standard sales reward.

The rewards can also be paid as a donation to charity, so by organising an event we can raise money for your school, group or club.
